We work directly with other City departments to facilitate the recruitment and selection process for any open positions in those departments. In addition, Human Resources is responsible for establishing employee classification and compensation levels; administering benefits; coordinating citywide training efforts; developing personnel policies; managing performance; resolving conflicts; and coordinating special events internally, like the annual United Way campaign, blood drives, and health and wellness initiatives.
