The Public Art Program includes opportunities for local, regional, national and international artists for both permanent and temporary projects. Whenever possible there will be an open call to artists to submit their qualifications.

Current Call to Artists:

Temporary Sculpture Installation - Deadline: July 21, 2016

Sculptors are invited to submit images of existing sculptural works for temporary placement (24 months) in a prominent outdoor setting in Hillsboro, seventeen miles west of Portland, Oregon. This opportunity is open to artists from Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho and Montana.

The selected sculpture will receive a fee of $3000. The artist will be responsible for transportation, installation and de-installation of the work, including providing a base that will be attached to concrete. The City of Hillsboro will maintain the work, create publicity materials and feature the work on the Hillsboro Cultural Arts website.

The total budget is $3000. Open to artists in Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho and Montana.
