Enjoy free outdoor movies under the stars with Hillsboro's annual Pix in the Park series.  

This free outdoor movie series with films each Friday night in August. Bring a blanket or low-back chair and stretch out in front of the big screen! Light concessions will be available for purchase or bring your own snacks. Movies will be closed captioned in English. Activities start at 7:30pm, and movies begin at dusk (between 8:15 – 8:45 pm).  

How to Train Your Dragon (2025) - Rated PG

This live-action remake of the 2010 animated film tells the story of a Viking boy named Hiccup who defies centuries of tradition by befriending a dragon named Toothless. However, when an ancient threat emerges that endangers both species, Hiccup's friendship with Toothless becomes the key to forging a new future.
