FUSE by Jingzi ZhaoBuilding on their participation in Hillsboro’s First Tuesday Art Walk, and beginning May 1, the Walters Cultural Arts Center is expanding its Art Walk hours from 5-8 pm.  All three floors of the Walters will feature arts and culture activities that include: gallery exhibits of photography by Jingzi Zaho and Kate Ampersand; a storytelling performance by Rick Huddle; West African kora music by Will Dudley; handmade jewelry and print cards by artists Bonnie Burbidge, Michelle Sorenson and Miranda Mikesh; and opportunities to make an origami corner creature bookmark or explore fleeting moments inspired by the current exhibits in letter writing and collage postcards.
