The City of Hillsboro Utilities Commission meets the second Tuesday of each month, typically at 1:30 pm in the Hillsboro Civic Center Conference Room C207. To accommodate Utilities Commissioners' schedules, the Mar. 13, 2018, meeting begins at 3:30 pm.

Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) and sign language interpreters are available, at no cost, and can be scheduled for this meeting. Please provide at least 72-hours notice prior to the meeting. To obtain these services, call 503- 681-6100 or TTY 503-681-6284.

The Utilities Commission was established by the City of Hillsboro Charter, Chapter X, Section 38. The Commission has the authority over the operation of the City water system, including the acquisition and sale of real property. The City water system includes water resource, treatment and distribution facilities. The Commission makes rules for the conduct and management of the water system, sets rates for the use and consumption of water, sets system development charges for new or expanding construction, and also sets charges for other services provided inside or outside of the City.
