Playgrounds, Sports Courts, and Public Recreation Equipment Closed

The City of Hillsboro has closed all playgrounds, sports courts, and public recreation equipment effective March 23 at noon.

Parks and Trails Open

All Hillsboro parks and trails will remain open for exercise and walking, but community members should take the need for social distancing seriously and maintain at least six feet separation from others.

Join us at OrenKoFest, Hillsboro’s harvest festival, on Saturday, October 5 from 12 to 7 pm at Jerry Willey Plaza at Orenco Station.

At OrenKoFest you’ll find local eats, live music, seasonal beer and wine, unique artisan vendors, and kids’ autumn crafts.

The highlight each year is the Masskrugstemmen, a traditional beer stein holding contest.

New this year: Learn about the Swiss and German cultural heritage of neighboring Helvetia from the Helvetia Community Association, and take in the musical stylings of yodeler Shelby Imholt, as well as upbeat local bands 23 Window and Dancehall Days.
