Playgrounds, Sports Courts, and Public Recreation Equipment Closed

The City of Hillsboro has closed all playgrounds, sports courts, and public recreation equipment effective March 23 at noon.

Parks and Trails Open

All Hillsboro parks and trails will remain open for exercise and walking, but community members should take the need for social distancing seriously and maintain at least six feet separation from others.

Portland OperaFresh for fall 2019, Portland Opera to Go presents their poignant adaptation of Puccini’s classic story of love and loss in the Latin Quarter, La Bohème. Engaging, accessible, and full of romantic intrigue, La Boheme is a persisting classic whose riveting tale of love and loss has continued to move audiences for over a century. Puccini’s masterpiece concerns the fortunes of four young men whose lives are changed forever when one of them—Rodolfo—falls in love with the girl upstairs. With themes of love, friendship, facing adversity, and coming-of-age, Portland Opera To Go’s La Boheme is exciting opportunity to introduce younger audiences to opera. The performance will be followed by a talk-back opportunity with the performers. Recommended for ages 12 and above.

Tickets: $5 suggested donation.
