City Facilities and Playgrounds Closed

To slow the spread of coronavirus and protect our community members’ health, City of Hillsboro facilities and playgrounds are closed until further notice.

Select Park Amenities Open May 23

Dog parks, tennis and pickleball courts, Reedville Creek skate park, Orchard Park disc golf course, and Rood Bridge Park's watercraft launch open Saturday, May 23. Other park amenities such as playgrounds, basketball courts, sports fields, and picnic shelters remain closed.

Parks and Trails Open

All Hillsboro parks and trails remain open for exercise and walking. 

Community members should take the need for physical distancing seriously and maintain at least six feet separation from others.

Walters Artisan Pop-up Shop

  • Introduction: Support local artists and find hand-crafted, original artwork and gifts at the Walters Artisan Pop-up Shop.

December Pop-up Shop_2018The Walters Cultural Arts Center will host more than 40 local artists at its 2nd annual Walters Artisan Pop-up Shop. For one night only, you’ll find everything from finely-crafted jewelry, hand-thrown pottery, silk scarves, handbags, handmade toys, homemade soaps, fine art and photographs, books, and so much more! There’s something for everyone, all while supporting local artists!

The Pop-up Shop is open to the public and free to attend, and all proceeds from sales go directly to the artists.
