City Facilities and Playgrounds Closed

To slow the spread of coronavirus and protect our community members’ health, City of Hillsboro facilities and playgrounds are closed until further notice.

Select Park Amenities Open May 23

Dog parks, tennis and pickleball courts, Reedville Creek skate park, Orchard Park disc golf course, and Rood Bridge Park's watercraft launch open Saturday, May 23. Other park amenities such as playgrounds, basketball courts, sports fields, and picnic shelters remain closed.

Parks and Trails Open

All Hillsboro parks and trails remain open for exercise and walking. 

Community members should take the need for physical distancing seriously and maintain at least six feet separation from others.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day: City offices and libraries closed. SHARC and Outdoors In will be open.

The Civic Center, Parks & Recreation Administration, and Public Works offices will be closed. 

Brookwood and Shute Park Libraries will be closed. 

SHARC will be open regular hours. All scheduled fitness classes are cancelled. 

Outdoors In will be open 9 am to 1 pm and 2 to 6 pm. 

The Jackson Bottom Nature Center, Walters Cultural Arts Center, and the Senior Center will be closed to the public. 

The Police and Fire Departments will operate as usual. 

There may be changes in scheduled activities and classes. Please check with the individual facility for more information. This is not an all-inclusive list of City closures and schedule changes.
