CANCELED: The Nature of Conflict Workshop

Tug of War thumb

This event has been CANCELED due to COVID-19.

The Hillsboro Mediation Program continually works to provide community members with the skills and tools necessary to move through conflict and improve relationships. Join us to get all of your conflict resolution questions answered in our interactive class. Participants will explore topics such as conflict styles and how they affect relationships; resistance to resolving conflicts, and how we can better handle angry people.

  • May 7, 6 to 9 pm - The Nature of Conflict

Conflicts occur whenever people disagree over their values, motivations, perceptions, ideas or desires. These conflicts contribute to breakdowns in communications and hurt relationships. A critical component of managing conflicts is learning to understand the nature of conflict and the instinctual conditions that keep them from getting resolved.

There is no cost to attend the class but please register via email at: Mediation@Hillsboro-Oregon.gov. Seats are limited.
