Dog parks, tennis and pickleball courts, Reedville Creek skate park, Orchard Park disc golf course, and Rood Bridge Park's watercraft launch are open. Other park amenities such as playgrounds, basketball courts, sports fields, and picnic shelters remain closed.
Parks and Trails Open
All Hillsboro parks and trails remain open for exercise and walking. Community members should take the need for physical distancing seriously and maintain at least six feet separation from others.
Sites with reservable shelters are indicated below. Shelters may be reserved over the phone with a VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
Note: Picnic shelter reservations are taken starting in January for the same year. 2019 reservation dates are April 13 - October 13.
Any individual or organization offering a registration or fee based activity or program must have department approval prior to using City of Hillsboro parks or facilities.

Park DescriptionThis neighborhood park provides many activity areas for the surrounding neighborhood residents. A reservable picnic shelter, tables and Barbeques allow for small celebrations. Benches along the paved pathway offer places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The large playground with spray feature, chess tables, a half-basketball court, a tennis court, and a central lawn offer a range of activity options. The park can be accessed on all sides from on-street parking and sidewalks. A restroom potty and drinking fountain are available.
Magnolia Park has a picnic shelter and picnic area that is available for rental. Reservations are taken starting in January of the same year for April 15 - October 15 reservations.
|Parking: On-street parking is provided on all sides of the park.
|Paths: All pathways are paved. The four-foot wide paved path loops around play areas on the west side of the park and connects to the picnic, lawn and sports courts on the east side of the park.|
|Picnic Tables: There are six picnic tables, including several accessible tables, at the picnic shelter.|
|Picnic Tables: There are several picnic areas with groupings of tables throughout the park. Most picnic tables are placed among the grass and trees without adjoining paths and are not fully accessible.|
|Picnic Shelter: The paved picnic shelter has accessible picnic tables. Several Barbeques are provided. The picnic shelter is available for rental. Reservations are taken starting in January of the same year for April 15 - October 15 reservations.|
|Tennis Court: The tennis court on the east side of the park can be accessed from the path.|
|Rain Garden: Lovely stormwater features treat rainwater on site.|
|Playground: The playground has several accessible play structures and swing sets. The surface of the playground is bark chips and can be accessed by ramps from the adjacent pathway.|
|Restrooms: A portable restroom and drinking fountain are available near the middle of the park. A drinking fountain is also available at the sports courts.|
|Water Feature: A zero-depth water feature with spray jets offers a unique area for play on hot summer days.|
|Basketball Court: The half-sized basketball court on the east side of the park can be accessed from the path.|
|Lawn: The large central lawn area offers flat and sloped open space for sports and games.|
