Playgrounds and Many City Facilities Closed

Dog parks, tennis and pickleball courts, Reedville Creek skate park, Orchard Park disc golf course, and Rood Bridge Park's watercraft launch are open. Other park amenities such as playgrounds, basketball courts, sports fields, and picnic shelters remain closed.
Parks and Trails Open
All Hillsboro parks and trails remain open for exercise and walking. Community members should take the need for physical distancing seriously and maintain at least six feet separation from others.
Sites with reservable shelters are indicated below. Shelters may be reserved over the phone with a VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
Note: Picnic shelter reservations are taken starting in January for the same year. 2019 reservation dates are April 13 - October 13.
Any individual or organization offering a registration or fee based activity or program must have department approval prior to using City of Hillsboro parks or facilities.

Plan Your Visit
This 12.5-acre community park provides recreation opportunities for nearby residents. Paved paths in the developed portions of the park and soft-surface trails through natural areas provide a varied experience. Benches and tables can be found throughout the park. The playground, basketball court and large lawn provide a range of options for active play. The park can be accessed on the west and east sides as well as by numerous connecting paths to the surrounding neighborhood developments. Restrooms are not available. A drinking fountain is available near the basketball court.
|Parking: Off-street, accessible parking is provided at the main entrance off of Overlook Drive. On-street parking is available at entrances along NW 194th Terrace and along Venetian Drive.|
|Paths: There are paved and unpaved paths. A six-foot-wide paved path loops around the park and connects through the adjacent neighborhood to the entrance on 194th Terrace and to several other neighborhood connections. Soft surface paths off of the main path leading through two small wooded areas.|
|Benches: There are many benches throughout the park along the paths and at the major facilities.|
|Picnic Tables: There are several picnic tables found throughout the park on paved surfaces at the plaza and near the playground.|
|Plaza: The formal plaza with a small central lawn, paved surfaces, benches and tables can be found at the east entrance to the park off of NW 194th Terrace.|
|Playground: The playground has an accessible play structure. The surface of the playground has wood chips and can be accessed from the path by a ramp.|
|Natural Areas: Two small wooded areas on the north and south ends of the park offer a quiet getaway. The fairly flat, soft-surface trails lead through native shrubs under towering Douglas fir trees.|
|Lawn/Open Field: The large open lawn offers lots of space for activities and sports.|
|Basketball Court: A full basketball court can be accessed from the main path in the center of the park.|
