Playgrounds and Many City Facilities Closed
To slow the spread of coronavirus and protect our community members’ health, all playgrounds and many City of Hillsboro facilities are closed until further notice. Visit our COVID-19 webpage for the latest coronavirus updates or view our Facilities and Parks Status Map to see what's open.

Dog parks, tennis and pickleball courts, Reedville Creek skate park, Orchard Park disc golf course, and Rood Bridge Park's watercraft launch are open. Other park amenities such as playgrounds, basketball courts, sports fields, and picnic shelters remain closed.
Parks and Trails Open
All Hillsboro parks and trails remain open for exercise and walking. Community members should take the need for physical distancing seriously and maintain at least six feet separation from others.
Sites with reservable shelters are indicated below. Shelters may be reserved over the phone with a VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
Note: Picnic shelter reservations are taken starting in January for the same year. 2019 reservation dates are April 13 - October 13.
Any individual or organization offering a registration or fee based activity or program must have department approval prior to using City of Hillsboro parks or facilities.

Plan Your Visit
This 9-acre neighborhood park provides recreation opportunities for Hillsboro residents. The paved path loops around the vast, rolling lawn and connects to a beautiful nature overlook. A big picnic area is great for large gatherings. The playground, basketball court and central lawn offer a range of options for active play. The nature overlook and boardwalk provide wildlife viewing opportunities along Reedville Creek. The park can be accessed on the north, east, and south sides off of SE Green Street, Century Boulevard and SE Frances Street. A restroom and a drinking fountain are available.
|Parking: On-street parking is provided on the north side of the park, along SE Green Street. Off-street, accessible parking is provided on the south side of the park, off of SE Frances Street.|
|Paths: All paths are paved. The six-foot wide paved path loops around the playground and central lawn on the north side of the park, and connects to the nature overlook and parking lot on the south end of the park.|
|Benches: There are several benches throughout the park along the path.|
|Picnic Tables: There is a large picnic area with six picnic tables in the center of the park, on a crushed rock surface.|
|Lawn/Play Area/Sports Field: The very large lawn area offers a lot of open space for sports and games.|
|Playground: The playground has an accessible play “ship”. The surface of the playground is rubber can be accessed from the surrounding paved path.|
|Nature Overlook: The overlook and nearby boardwalk provide a glimpse at the wetlands around Reedville Creek.|
|Restrooms: A temporary restroom facility is available on the north side of the park. A drinking fountain is available in the center of the park.|
|Basketball Court: The full basketball court is surrounded by grass and can be accessed from the nearby path and playground.|
