Playgrounds and Many City Facilities Closed

Dog parks, tennis and pickleball courts, Reedville Creek skate park, Orchard Park disc golf course, and Rood Bridge Park's watercraft launch are open. Other park amenities such as playgrounds, basketball courts, sports fields, and picnic shelters remain closed.
Parks and Trails Open
All Hillsboro parks and trails remain open for exercise and walking. Community members should take the need for physical distancing seriously and maintain at least six feet separation from others.
Sites with reservable shelters are indicated below. Shelters may be reserved over the phone with a VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
Note: Picnic shelter reservations are taken starting in January for the same year. 2019 reservation dates are April 13 - October 13.
Any individual or organization offering a registration or fee based activity or program must have department approval prior to using City of Hillsboro parks or facilities.

Plan Your Visit
This 2-acre neighborhood park provides recreation opportunities for nearby Hillsboro residents. A paved path connects to the basketball court, gazebo and playground. A large open lawn offers a range of options for active play. The park can be accessed on the east from NW Dennis Avenue and on the west from NW Ebberts Avenue. Accessible restrooms and a drinking fountain are available.
|Parking: On-street parking is provided on the east and west sides of the park.
Paths: All paths are paved. The five-foot-wide paved path crosses through the park, connecting the east and west entrances.
|Benches: There are several benches along the path and throughout the park.
|Picnic Tables: A picnic table is available under the gazebo.
|Gazebo: The small gazebo has a paved surface. The gazebo is available on a first come, first serve basis.
|Playground: The playground has an accessible play structure, several swing sets, teeter-totters, and a zip-line. The surface of the playground has wood chips and can be accessed from the path by a ramp.|
|Restrooms: Accessible restroom facilities and a drinking fountain are available, located in the center of the park.|
|Basketball Court: A full basketball court can be accessed from the main path on the west side of the park.|
