BodyVox Brings the Spirit of Halloween to the Walters with BloodyVox

Post Date:10/01/2019 8:30 am

BodyVoxDescribed as, "…the city's most popular and internationally renowned dance troupe" (The Oregonian), BodyVox comes to the Walters on Friday, October 25 with their performance of BloodyVox, led by Emmy Award-winning choreographers Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland. Celebrate the season of Halloween by dressing in your costume to enjoy this entertaining modern dance performance at the Walters Cultural Arts Center (527 E. Main St., Hillsboro) at 7:30 pm. Tickets for this performance are $20 advance or $25 the day of show. Recommended for ages 10 and above. Performance will include use of strobe light effects in opening act.

Start with a group of beautiful and talented dancers, add a hint of spooky, a touch of Vampire, and top it off with a healthy dose of hatchets and chainsaws and you get BloodyVox—a wickedly entertaining night celebrating BodyVox’s favorite time of year. Channeling Hitchcock, Lugosi, and Karloff and bringing All Hallow’s Eve to life, it’s a real treat for all! Bring friends to hold tight—to protect you from things that go bump in the night! Featuring new work by Jamey Hampton and Ashley Roland, this freshly dead (but still warm) installment of BodyVox’s Halloween classic is a dance theater experience that will disembody you.
