Limited Space Available in Summer Camp
Read information about the limited spaces available in our modified summer camp.
A dedicated group of Parks Program Staff from Arts, Nature, Recreation, and Sports has been working to develop a multi-faceted summer day camp that can be offered safely and engage and excite the participants.
The camp will be held at Eastwood Elementary School.
Camps will run Monday through Thursday for 5-weeks – July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27, and August 3.
The camp will be offered to participants entering grades 3-6 in the fall and begin with 20-campers/week.
Each person is limited to registering for two camp weeks to allow more kids to participate.
The camp arrival and departure times will be staggered for the safety of the campers and parents: 8 am to 4:30 pm and 8:30 am to 5 pm.
We will not be offering before or aftercare for this camp, and campers will need to bring snacks, a sack lunch, and a water bottle each day.
Cost for the one week camp will be $175 Resident/$215 Non-resident.
Registration begins Monday, June 22 at 9 am. To register call 503-681-6120.
Please note: We will continue working to bring more trained staff on-board to increase the number of participants we can safely serve.
The camp will be set-up in two groups of 10, and the groups will always stay together and not intermingle with the other group. Your camper can expect to participate in group and team building activities, enrichment, science, and nature education in the morning and then engage in activities at 4-pods in the afternoon – Nature, Sports, Arts, and Fitness.
Staff will follow all Federal, State, and local guidelines established for summer camps. We appreciate that you may be nervous about sending your child to a summer camp. Still, please be assured we will take all necessary precautions for their safety, adhere to screening/tracking protocols, and follow the most current guidelines.
