Hillsboro Police Department Blotter January 2025

 Calls for Service: 6,843   Arrests: 498

  • Officers learned an adult male had used a counterfeit identification to check into a motel.  A search warrant was obtained to search the room and officers discovered equipment used to produce counterfeit $100 bills.  The male and an adult female were arrested for forgery, possession of forged instruments, and possession of forgery devices.  The male was additionally charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl, identity theft, and outstanding warrants
  • Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash and located a very intoxicated driver.  The driver was transported to an area hospital and a search warrant was granted for samples of the driver’s blood.
  • Adult male was denied service at a drive-through coffee stand due to previous behavior.  The male parked his car, exited, and approached the coffee stand with a knife.  Officers detained the male without incident, and he was taken to jail for unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, and for being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon. 
  • Adult male was called in for causing problems at a local business and was arrested when it was discovered he had four outstanding warrants. 
  • Adult male was called in by TriMet security for defecating on a MAX train and interfering with train operations.  He was arrested. 
  • While checking on a suspicious vehicle, an officer located a deceased female in the car.  Investigation revealed the cause of death was from an overdose. 
  • Adult male was arrested for improper use of 911 for calling repeatedly without having an emergency. 
  • Adult male was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants after crashing into the back of another car. 
  • Adult male was called in for breaking into cars.  The male was located and taken to jail for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. 
  • Adult male was called in by another motorist for possibly being impaired while driving.  Officers located the male, and he was arrested for DUII.  His blood alcohol concentration was 0.22%. 
  • Adult male was called in for being problematic at a business and was subsequently arrested for trespassing and for failing to register as a sex offender. 
  • Officers assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with apprehending a burglary suspect who had run from the scene. 
  • Officers responded to the report of men with guns robbing another man.  The investigation revealed no such event occurred and the reporting party called 911 to divert police away from where he was driving while intoxicated.  The reporting party was arrested for driving while suspended, driving under the influence of intoxicants, and initiating a false report. 
  • Adult female stole a car from her boyfriend’s house and took his cocaine with her.  She was located by police and arrested for DUII and other crimes. 
  • Adult female was arrested for reckless driving and reckless endangering another after she was reported for road rage.  The suspect had extensive history of the same behavior. 
  • Shoplifter was arrested for theft and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. 
  • An officer on routine patrol stopped a suspicious vehicle that turned out to be stolen.  The driver and passengers were arrested for various crimes. 
  • An adult male was contacted by an officer who knew he had several warrants for his arrest.  During the arrest, the male headbutted an officer. 
  • Driver reported a road rage incident where the other driver reportedly pointed a gun at the reporting party.  Officers located the suspect vehicle and the driver, who possessed a very realistic-looking airsoft gun, was arrested for menacing. 
  • Half-naked adult male was called in for being in the middle of the road, yelling at and pounding on cars driving by.  Officers contacted the male, who spit on an officer and resisted arrest.  The male was taken to jail for disorderly conduct, aggravated harassment, and resisting arrest. 
  • Report of an adult male who stole a bicycle.  Officers were unable to locate the male, but Transit Police later saw him on a TriMet camera at the Beaverton Transit Center.  During his arrest, the suspect punched a Transit Police Officer.  He went to jail on many charges.
