Local performers will take the stage at the Walters Cultural Arts Center during its 2025-2026 Performance Season.  

Hillsboro's Arts & Culture Council recently approved six Performance Series Grants that offer local artists, groups, and organizations the opportunity to become part of the Performance Series at the Walters Cultural Arts Center located in Downtown Hillsboro's Cultural Arts District. 

Grant recipients are awarded a single performance opportunity with ticketing, marketing, and production support, as well as net revenue from ticket sales (100% for Hillsboro-based arts and culture nonprofits and 80% of ticket sales for all others).

Bossa PDX

Portland's classic bossa nova and Brazilian jazz ensemble, Bossa PDX creates an uplifting and soothing musical experience replete with samba, jazz, and bossa nova rhythms.

Dance United

DJ Prashant leads Dance United, a high-energy interactive Bollywood dance party featuring genre-blending music.

Hillsboro Symphony Orchestra

The three ensembles of Hillsboro Symphony Orchestra will perform dance music of Austria, the Caribbean, and the US. The event will include seating and a dance floor and engage local dance teachers.

Rhythm and Autism

This sensory-friendly performance of Andee Joyce’s solo musical comedy, Rhythm & Autism, tells her story of growing up autistic amid the pop culture cheese of the 1960s and 1970s.

Sofi Nava

Venezuelan Musician-Songwriter, Sofi Nava, performs originals and Latin favorites in a 5-piece band format, celebrating her roots and connecting the audience with her musical journey and immigrant story.

STAGES Performing Arts Youth Academy

Performing a lively show blending elements of country-western music, dance, and comedic storytelling, STAGES Performing Arts Youth Academy will deliver humor and fun.
