The Hillsboro Water Department’s Operations Building, located at 390 W Main St, will be under construction starting in March 2026.

The building expansion will support departmental growth and operational efficiency. Construction activities are planned to occur Monday through Friday from 7 am - 3:30 pm. Neighbors may experience increased noise from equipment and machinery, additional construction vehicle traffic, and intermittent lane closures or brief traffic delays during the construction period.

Bulk Water customers may be impacted during the parking lot improvements. Bulk water service will remain available, but access times and hydrant locations may change. For bulk water updates, visit our Bulk Water Program.

Construction activities are expected to be completed in November 2026. Customer access and parking will remain available during construction.
