Hillsboro Water staff will visit your home to assess the types of plumbing fixtures and appliances currently installed in your home. 
During your audit, Hillsboro Water can:

• Provide complimentary high-efficiency showerheads and faucet aerators.
• Review and explain your utility bill, including base fees, consumption fees, and how your water usage is tracked. 
• Troubleshoot issues or leaks.
• Offer useful water conservation tips on indoor water use. 

Staff can also help provide information on Hillsboro Water’s other programs, including Lead-In-Water Testing Kits and Water-Efficiency Rebates. 

Outdoor Water Audit

Outdoor water use can account for much of your bill during the summer. Chat with our water conservation experts to learn how to water efficiently and prevent plumbing issues year-round. 
During your audit, Hillsboro Water can: 

• Read your water meter to check for leaks and monitor water use. 
• Optimize your irrigation schedule to prevent over-watering.
• Address broken sprinkler heads and prevent excessive runoff. 
• Guide you on winterizing your pipes.
• Suggest relevant items from our Water-Efficiency Rebate Program.
