This public notification stipulates that the City of Hillsboro intends to apply for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Cleanup Grant for Fiscal Year 2026.
This grant will support the remediation of the City-owned Industrial Flood Plain property located south of Tualatin Valley Highway, Tax Lot 1S209BC01100.
This cleanup project aims to address environmental concerns on the site, ensuring that the property is safe for future development and public use. The City of Hillsboro is committed to revitalizing this area in a manner that promotes environmental health and community well-being. These goals are informed by the City of Hillsboro’s Comprehensive Plan that cite fostering healthy ecosystems, advancing environmental sustainability, and enhancing livability and recreation.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public meeting will be held in Conference Room 113B, 150 E. Main Street, First Floor, Hillsboro at 4 pm on January 13, 2026. All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting and will be given opportunity to be heard concerning this matter.
