The Cascade will join the Carolina Blaze, Chicago Bandits, Oklahoma City Spark, Texas Volts, and Utah Talons in the six-team league, building off the momentum of the league's debut in 2025.
“This is a home run for Hillsboro and women’s sports in the Portland metro area,” said Hillsboro Mayor Beach Pace. “We are very excited for the Hillsboro Ballpark to be the home of the Portland Cascade. Welcome to Hillsboro!”

The Cascade is one of two expansion teams in 2026 following an inaugural season fueled by sellout crowds across the country, record viewership and social engagement, and a strategic investment by Major League Baseball — as well as an offseason featuring a multi-year renewal of its media rights agreement with ESPN.

Hillsboro Ballpark, now home of the Cascade, is part of Hillsboro’s Gordon Faber Recreation Complex (GFRC) which is one of the premier sports complexes in the Portland Metro Area. The 90+ acre complex features Hillsboro Stadium (7,000 seats), Hillsboro Ballpark (4,500 seats), the new Hillsboro Hops Stadium (6,000 seats), three multi-use sports fields, and a playground. GFRC attracts more than 375,000 visitors a year to events and activities. Learn more about the Portland Cascade and see a schedule of Hillsboro games
