HiLight high-speed fiber optic broadband internet is now available to households in the neighborhood surrounding Patterson Elementary School. HiLight is the City of Hillsboro’s high-speed fiber optic broadband network offering internet to residents and businesses in the city.

Construction started in 2020 in the Shute Park area and has progressed to now cover more than 20% of addresses throughout the city. The Patterson Elementary School neighborhood is the most recent to see HiLight construction completed.
