The City Council will consider an appeal to the Planning Commission’s decision to
approve a Conditional Use with consolidated Development Review application with
Major Adjustments (Case File No. CU-006-24) to construct and operate a church,
school, daycare and cemetery on a site approximately 5.92 acres in size. The Planning
Commission approved Major Adjustments to allow the church’s entrance to not face
the street, reduce windows on all sides of the church, reduced the church’s building
frontage adjacent to the street and reduce the site’s Floor Area Ratio. The church is
the petitioner appealing the Planning Commission’s decision. The appeal hearing will
allow new testimony.
