The City of Hillsboro continues to complete construction on the HiLight fiber-to-the-home network.

As of June 2026, HiLight can provide service to about 11,600 addresses, including:

• South Hillsboro
• Shute Park area
• Downtown Hillsboro
• Parts of Northwest Hillsboro

HiLight continues to expand in the area south of Glencoe High School and in neighborhoods around McKinney Elementary School.

This winter, the City will start construction in neighborhoods around NE Grant Street between 1st Avenue and NE Cornell Road.
