Enjoy biking in Oregon’s beautiful summer weather and spend time with neighbors and family at the new Bike Hillsboro event! 

Sponsored by WashCo Bikes, Bike Hillsboro is a community bike ride with free family-friendly activities hosted along the route.  

The event begins at 9:15 am on Saturday, August 8 at WashCo Bikes (137 NE 3^rd Avenue) in Downtown Hillsboro. Riding groups will embark starting at 10 am, journeying to three parks: Hamby, Griffin Oaks, and Bagley.  

At each park there will be special activities for participants, including bubbles, games, ice cream bars, and more! No registration is required for this free event, so bring the whole family and enjoy the ride. 

In addition to being a fun summer outing, this event is a great opportunity to both practice and teach bike safety. Volunteers will distribute free bike helmets, perform small bike repairs, and guide families along the route.  

Safety is a top priority for this ride, and the goal is to create a fun experience for riders of all ages, abilities, and confidence levels. 

We are excited to see you there, so come help Hillsboro inaugurate its first communal bike ride!
