Construction on the 120-unit Willow Creek Crossing Apartments, at 185th Avenue and Baseline in Hillsboro, is slated for completion in 2019.
The Housing Authority of Washington County broke ground in September on the $33.1 million public-private partnership project with DBG Properties, LLC, and other agencies, including the City of Hillsboro.
The affordable apartment project will utilize land formerly owned by Washington County to serve low-income families next to Portland Community College’s Willow Creek Center and the TriMet MAX Station.
All 120 housing units will be reserved for residents earning 60 percent, or less, of the area's median income. Rents will be approximately 27 percent less than market rates. The project will include 38 studios, 71 one-bedroom units, and 11 two-bedroom units.
