Hillsboro City Council Wants Your Input in City Manager Recruitment
City Councilors want to know what you think — and they’re taking time to visit the places where many neighbors spend time in hopes of hearing different perspectives.
The Council will break up into small groups of two or three Councilors for several listening tours during the month of April at community gathering places.
Sunday, April 7
- M & M Marketplace, 1 – 3 pm
Saturday, April 13
- Brookwood Library, 1 – 3 pm
Tuesday, April 16
During the listening tours, City Councilors will walk through these locations to engage with community members about the characteristics and strengths they want to see in Hillsboro’s next City Manager.
In addition to the tours, the Council will continue to listen to community input through email, and in-person communication, including at City Council meetings on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
The Council has called for a nationwide search to recruit the next City Manager.
