Hillsboro Kicks Off Pride Month with Family-Friendly Pride Party
On Saturday, June 1, everyone is welcome to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride in Hillsboro.
As a welcoming and inclusive community, Hillsboro continuously creates new opportunities to bring people together.
On Saturday, June 1, everyone is welcome to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride in our community at two free family-friendly events.
Celebrate what unites us and makes us unique individuals at Hillsboro's Pride Party. Connect with your neighbors, and with local community groups, support systems, and other advocates.
What: Pride Party
When: Saturday, June 1, 12 – 7 pm
Where: Jerry Willey Plaza at Orenco Station
Celebrity Poison Waters will head up the party, with help from City of Hillsboro leaders. Performers will include Portland's Frankie Simone (pictured), The Portland Pride Band and Color Guard, and Hillsboro's own Ballet Folklorico Mexico en la Piel.
Families and individuals can explore the Party's craft and artisan market, community resource booths, and art activities. Food, beverages, and beer will be available for purchase.

That same day, you are invited to show your pride in Hillsboro's parks — just a few blocks from the Pride Party. All ages and identities are welcome to volunteer at Project Pride, where community members will help beautify Orenco Woods Nature Park.
