Community Arts Project and Core Support Grant Applications Open

The Community Arts and Culture Grant Program goals are to raise awareness and expand support for existing arts and culture programming that serves Hillsboro residents. Project Grants benefit short-term, or one time projects for both new and existing programs, while Core Support Grants fund operating expenses for cultural non-profits based in Hillsboro. Funded activities must take place between June 1, 2020 and May 30, 2021. Applications are due by 5 pm on February 28, 2020.

Performance Venue Grant Applications Open

The City of Hillsboro is offeringarts & cultural organizations and individuals or groups the opportunity to apply for free use of specific event spaces on select dates as part of the performance series from October 2020 through May 2021. The grant includes one rehearsal in the space, ticketing, limited marketing, audiovisual support, and a facility supervisor on site. Applications due by 5 pm on January 31, 2020.

2019-20 Creative Impact Workshop Series

Our 2019-20 Workshop Series has been released, with new professional development opportunities for individual artists and arts organizations. Topics include: photographing your artwork, Quickbooks for nonprofits, board engagement, adapting arts programming for people with disabilities, and building a career as an artist.
