ArtFest on the Plaza - September 22
October is Hillsboro Arts Month, and we're kicking it off with a day of music and entertainment at ArtFest on the Plaza, September 22, 9 am – 1:30 pm, at the Tom Hughes Civic Center Plaza! Join us for this free, family-friendly event featuring performances by local organizations and individuals, artist demonstrations, hands-on art and craft projects, and enjoy free popcorn and street magic.

October is Hillsboro Arts Month
Hillsboro Arts Month is an initiative of the Hillsboro Arts & Culture Council inviting you to discover the community’s cultural offerings. October 2018 features over 60 events, exhibits, and classes in the including music, dance, and theater performances; visual art exhibits and artists’ studio tours; literary readings, lectures, and workshops; and film screenings.  With over 60 events, what will you do?

Artist-in-Our Community Pop-up Painting Booths
This summer, our Artist-in-Our-Community Dawning McGinnis will create opportunities for community members to engage their own creativity and to experience art in non-traditional settings. She plans to offer pop-up painting booths at a wide range of community events and organizations throughout the City from July – September. To find a location near you, check out our event calendar.
