Upload Electronic Files
Any projects for which you have access to will display in the Active Projects List.
Select the specific project that corresponds to the plans drawings or documents you will be uploading by clicking on a specific project in the Project column of the Active Projects List.
If you do not see your project in the Active Projects List, you can try these two options.
Click on the All Projects button to view all of the projects you have access to. The button is shown in the image below.
Use the search field to enter your project number or project name to search. Once you’ve entered the search criteria, press Enter.
Depending on the type of project you’re submit for (Planning, Engineering, or Building), the folders you see will be different. These folders may or may not be visible depending on the stage of your ProjectDox submittal and review.
For Building and Public Works Engineering: Upload your electronic application files to the “Drawings” and “Documents” folders.
For Planning: Upload your electronic application files to the “Prescreen Review – Drawings” and “Prescreen Review – Documents” folders during the initial upload.
Be sure to use the file naming standards when saving your files for uploading. Please visit our File Naming Standards page for more information.
Click the appropriate folder to upload your plan drawings or documents.
Follow the prompts to upload your files.
Click the “Upload Files” button.
Click on the “Browse For Files” button.
Browse to the files on your computer and select the files to upload. Multiple files (preferred) can be selected by using your Shift or Ctrl keys. Click the “Open” button shown in the image below.
Once the files are presented, select the “Upload Files” button.
Once the files have been copied to the upload window, click the “Close” button to close out of the dialog box and return to the folder.
Your files are displayed in the folder with thumbnail images, the file name, author, date, and any relevant icons as shown on the image below.
File names cannot be changed once the files are uploaded to folders, however, during the initial upload process, you may delete files from the folder. This feature is only available during the Applicant Upload task and is not available after the task is completed.
Accepting the Applicant Upload Task
Once you have completed uploading your files, don’t forget to accept and complete the Applicant Upload task to notify the City that your files are ready for Prescreen Review.
