Playgrounds and Recreation Facilities Closed

To slow the spread of coronavirus and protect our community members’ health, all playgrounds and most City of Hillsboro facilities are closed until further notice. The Civic Center is open for in-person service needs.

Select Park Amenities Open

Dog parks, tennis and pickleball courts, Reedville Creek skate park, Orchard Park disc golf course, and Rood Bridge Park's watercraft launch are open. Other park amenities such as playgrounds, basketball courts, sports fields, and picnic shelters remain closed.

Parks and Trails Open

All Hillsboro parks and trails remain open for exercise and walking. Community members should take the need for physical distancing seriously and maintain at least six feet separation from others.

About Outdoors In

Outdoors In is a fun place for children and families to get out of the weather and play. 

This indoor park experience features fun for all ages, including: 

  • 3,800 square feet of space to play
  • A full-size playground
  • A 16-foot bouldering wall
  • A classroom space filled with toys for children of all ages
  • NEOS, an interactive, electronic whole-body gaming system for kids and adults.
