In recognition of the growing need for free or low-cost venues for the development and presentation of cultural work, the City of Hillsboro launched the Venue Grant program in January 2019. Following an open call for proposals, the City is pleased to award Venue Grants to seven community groups.

Preserving Native Culture through Music & Movement, Painted Sky Northstar Dance Company Performs at the Walters
The Walters Cultural Arts Center presents Painted Sky Northstar Dance Company on Saturday, March 9 at 2 pm. Established in 2005, the company performs Native American styles of dance and music, while incorporating the contemporary styles of jazz, lyric, tap, and hip-hop.
