- Lunch with the Birds
Join Jackson Bottom staff and volunteers every Wednesday, January through June, from noon to 1 pm. Learn local wildlife identification tips and natural history facts.
- Morning Bird Song Walks
Develop and hone your ability to identify bird songs by making a commitment of one hour per week on Thursdays, during the months of April and May when our resident birds begin singing a lot.
Support Hillsboro Parks & Recreation by volunteering for a habitat enhancement or park beautification project.
Sunset Sit & Moonrise Smile
Once a month make time in your day to relax and take in the eastern sky as the sun sets and the moon rises. Join us thirty minutes before sunset at select City of Hillsboro park sites. A Parks & Recreation naturalist will be on hand to help you tune in to the many wonderful events that happen as day passes into night.
