This 4-acre neighborhood park originally opened during the nation's bicentennial year, 1976, with the assistance of the American Revolution Bicentennial Commission. The park provides a picnic shelter, a multi-featured playground and lots of lawn space for active play. Benches are provided throughout the park along the paved path. The park can be accessed from the east and west sides off of NE 24th Avenue and NE 25th Avenue. Accessible restrooms and a drinking fountain are available.
Parking: On-street parking is provided along NE 25th Avenue.
|Playground: The playground has an accessible play structure with lots of fun features, several swing sets, a climbing dino and a bobbing bee. The surface of the playground has wood chips and can be accessed from the path by a ramp.|
|Paths: Most paths are paved. A four-foot wide paved path loops around the park and connects to the west and east sides of the park. A short gravel path connects the main area to benches under trees.|
|Benches: Several benches are provided throughout the park and around the playground.||Restrooms: Accessible restroom facilities are available next to the playground. A drinking fountain is available near the picnic shelter.|
|Picnic Tables: There are two separate groups of picnic tables. There is a group of accessible tables under the shelter and another group of tables under the trees in the center of the park.||Lawn/Play area: A large lawn area on the north side of the park provides space for soccer and other active sports.|
