The After School Intramural Sports Program is offered at all middle schools and is an introductory athletic experience. It is not intended to be a highly intense, competitive program.

Sportsmanship and teamwork will be taught and closely managed at all competitions. Perfect attendance is not mandatory but is encouraged to allow participants to have a positive experience. There are five sports for your student to register for this school year. Specific game and practice schedules will be given out the first week of each session.

If the participant is riding the activity bus, a parent will need to fill out the After School Transportation form located in the school office.

Each sport will have practices at their own school from 3:25 - 4:45 pm. On practice days, students have the option of riding the activity bus that will pick them up at 5 pm. If the participant is riding the activity bus, a parent will need to fill out and return the After School Transportation Form, available in your school office. Please note, it takes 48 hours (2 days) to process your bussing request from the time we receive your registration and payment for the program. If you want to pick up the participant instead, please arrive promptly at 4:45 pm.

Game Days

Meet Days: Starting the third week of the session, there will be meets competing with the other middle schools, hosted at the high school tracks. The program will end later on meet days. There is no activity bus to take participants home on any meet days. Meets will end at approximately 6:45 pm and students can ride the activity bus back to their school and arrive at approximately 6:45 – 7 pm. They then need to be picked up or walk home. All students who do not ride the activity bus home from a meet must let a coach know before leaving. Parents must let the coach know if they are riding home with another player.
