Created in 2015, the Best of Hillsboro awards survey the community to help us identify what makes our City so special.

Every summer, community members nominate their favorite aspects of our community to select finalists in each category, then vote to choose the winners.

2018 Best of Hillsboro Award Results

More than 300 people cast their votes online and in person for our 2018 Best of Hillsboro Awards.

For the first time in the four-year history of the awards, a category ended in a tie as the Hillsboro Public Library Staff and the Library of Things both took home first place as Best Library Feature.

The Library was the star of the 2018 Awards, as it was also voted Best Place to Stay Cool In Summer, narrowly defeating the 53rd Ave Community Park Spragyround and SHARC swimming pools.
