3 – 8 Grade

Hillsboro Youth Volleyball is a program that provides a recreational volleyball league for youth in grades 3 – 8 who reside in the Hillsboro School District.

Age Divisions

  • 3rd & 4th Grade – $60
  • 5th & 6th Grade – $60
  • 7th & 8th Grade – $80

Registration includes shirt, practices and games. End of season tournament for 7th & 8th Grade. Teams formed by feeder school.

Financial Assistance

We believe youth sports should be accessible to all. We provide financial assistance up to 50% of registration fees for youth sports programs to those who qualify and might not otherwise be able to participate. Free Volleyball Clinics

Come play with us for free! Try out a new sport, or get ready for the season. Hillsboro Parks & Recreation is hosting three free volleyball clinics before the Fall Hillsboro Youth Volleyball season begins. While these clinics are free, space is limited and pre-registration is encouraged. Day-of registration will be available pending space. Check in opens 30 minutes prior to clinic start time.

Free Clinic Schedule

  • Saturday, September 14 at South Meadows Middle School
  • Saturday, September 21 at Patterson Elementary School
  • Saturday, September 28 at Quatama Elementary School

8:30 – 10 am       3rd – 5th grade
10:30 – 12 pm     6th – 8th grade

Fall Season Information

Registration opens August 27 and ends October 1
Late October – Mid December
Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6, 7 or 8 pm.
Team placement notification occurs mid-October.

Volunteer Coaches Needed

Our program depends on support from volunteer coaches. let us know at registration if you are interested in coaching. New to coaching? No worries! Hillsboro Parks & Recreation supports our coaches with a comprehensive coach education program. All coaches receive coaching and sport specific training as well as in-season support.

Coach Education & Resources

Hillsboro Parks & Recreation fundamentally believes a Youth Sports Development Program should provide comprehensive training for coaches in both social and emotional skills as well as the rules of the sport. We believe it is important to support our coaches and equip them with the tools and resources needed to feel confident in coaching.
