First Time Registration
If you have never registered for one of our programs, your account must be set up by our staff. You may contact us by phone at 503-681-5397 or come into any of our facilities during business hours to obtain your login information.
You can register online by browsing the Activities Guides and clicking on the item of interest or by clicking on the ActiveNet registration link. Using our online registration program, you may view your account, browse our wide array of programs and classes, and register 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Payment method is by Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express.

Phone-in registration for recreation classes is taken weekdays from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Register by calling 503-681-5397. If all lines are busy, please defer your call to a later time if possible. Payment method is by Visa, Mastercard or Discover. Have all registration information ready when you call. Register for your immediate family ONLY. One family per phone call.
All fees are collected during registration. Cash, check and Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. Prices are subject to change without notice. Resident is defined as any individual living within the city limits of Hillsboro. All classes have a minimum enrollment and may be canceled as early as 10 days before the class starts if the minimum enrollment is not met. Full refunds or credits are given when a class cancels or is postponed. Registrants must withdraw by end of the business day at least four days prior to the start of the program, unless otherwise specified, to receive a credit or refund. For example, if a camp/class starts on a Monday, the patron would need to call the prior Thursday to receive a full credit/refund for the class. Requests made within four days are subject to standard processing fees and an administrative fee of 25 percent of the total program fee. No credits or refunds will be issued after the start of programs. Cost of admission tickets and pre-paid program materials cannot be refunded. Please allow approximately two weeks to receive a refund if it is processed by check. Senior pricing begins at age 62.
Financial aid can be requested for recreation and aquatic center programs. (No team fees or rentals.) One request per season (three-month period) per person will be granted. The maximum amount of assistance is 75 percent of the cost of the activity. Please allow two weeks for processing. Persons requesting financial aid must complete the form below and return along with the registration form to the Hillsboro Parks & Recreation Department, 4400 NE Century Boulevard.
If your desired class is filled, you will be notified and placed on a waiting list. If openings become available, we will go to the waiting list to fill the class. To be properly waitlisted online, the user must complete the transaction by clicking "checkout", despite there being no charge to waitlist.

On occasion, Parks & Recreation staff may take photos of participants in our programs, classes and events. Please be aware that these photos are for Parks & Recreation Department use only and may be used in promotional materials. If you have any concerns regarding this, please notify your instructor at the beginning of your class.
