The City of Hillsboro is proud to offer two grant programs which provide support to local social service agencies for projects and programs that help to improve the lives of Hillsboro residents.

Community Services Grants Mom & Son

The Community Services Grant Program is an annual, competitive grant intended to help support programs or activities that address community needs including, but not limited to, mental and physical health, child care, drug and alcohol recovery, vocational rehabilitation, aging, housing, family support and public safety.

Average award amounts typically range from $1,000 - $5,000.

Community Impact Grant

The Community Impact Grant is a new pilot program designed to provide multi-year grant funding to a nonprofit organization for a project or program that makes a sustained, targeted impact in a priority area of community concern. The Impact Grant is a competitive grant awarded to an organization once every three years. 

Organizations may apply for up to $120,000 in funds to be distributed over the three year period (maximum $40,000 per year).
