Responsibilities:

Serves as the Fire Marshal and manages Fire Prevention Division including programs for new development, code compliance, fire investigations, and fire and life safety programs.

Battalion Chief

Responsibilities:

Coordinating health and wellness programs, wildland fire operations, and technical rescue programs. Provides battalion chief shift vacancy coverage.

Richard Vetsch
Battalion Chief

Serving the industry since 1988. 

Responsibilities:

Managing A-shift: coordinating daily operations of emergency response staff, overseeing response to fire and EMS incidents, ensuring safe working conditions of personnel, and executing the department's mission. Chief Vetsch also is responsible for supervising the department's personal protective equipment program.

Responsibilities:

Managing B-shift: coordinating daily operations of emergency response staff, overseeing response to fire and EMS incidents, ensuring safe working conditions of personnel, and executing the department's mission. Chief Gregg also is responsible for supervising the department's Honor Guard program.
