Training Center

In 2017, the City of Hillsboro purchased a 10-acre property in southwest Hillsboro with the purpose of establishing a state of the art public safety training center for Hillsboro Fire and Rescue and the Police Department. The property currently has an office building and large warehouse.

The project received land use approval in March 2019 and will include a multi-story training prop with live fire burn rooms, various situational training aids, classrooms, and offices. The first phase of the plan is to relocate Hillsboro Fire and Rescue’s Logistics and Training Divisions and construct a multi-story training tower. The second phase will relocate Hillsboro Police Department’s Training Division.

Please check back soon to see the development progress.
