Since 2017, we've partnered with the Hillsboro School District to host the Liberty High School Fire Science Program. This program allows any Hillsboro high school student to explore a career in fire and emergency medical services (EMS).

The program provides an in-depth look at the three main areas of today’s fire service: EMS, structural firefighting, and wildland firefighting. Interactive lectures, group projects, facility tours, and equipment demonstrations are taught by professional firefighters. Basic fire and EMS techniques, real-life demonstrations, and ride-along opportunities are offered.
