Her job is focused on the daily operations of both libraries to “keep the lights on and the doors open,” working collaboratively with City departments such as Information Services and Facilities, as well as being the liaison to the Library Foundation. In her spare time she loves to travel and cook, and is trying to master the art of bread baking. Her favorite book is Bel Canto by Ann Patchett. Karen is currently serving as interim Library Director.
