Civic Center Fountain

When is the fountain open?

The Civic Center Fountain typically opens the first Saturday in May and runs until October 31 depending on weather conditions and special events in the plaza.*

General fountain operating hours:

  • 8 am - 8 pm Monday - Saturday

*From time to time, the Civic Center fountains are closed for maintenance or events.

Is the water treated?

Yes. The fountain gets checked by a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) every 4 hours. The water is treated to the same standards as a public pool. 

Be safe!

Always use caution and make sure children are attended. Slippery surfaces, moving water, and standing water require careful attention.
