Hillsboro Parks & Recreation offers a wide range of preschool programs that promote safe, age-appropriate learning to help young children prepare for kindergarten and beyond.

Early Childhood activities offer more than just play time!

Build vocabulary and social skills through interactive story time

Drop-in programs

Gymtastic Play Zone

Hop, skip, jump, balance and spin in Hidden Creek’s Gymtastic Play Zone, designed to engage your child’s physical creativity and body awareness through movement based free play. Gymtastic Play Zone is a drop-in program and equipment will be shared with other patrons.

Outdoors In

Whatever the weather, come play at Outdoors In!

This indoor park features fun for all ages, including:

3,800 square feet of space to play
A full-size playground
A 16-foot bouldering wall
A classroom space filled with toys for children of all ages
NEOS, an interactive, electronic whole-body gaming system for kids and adults

Single visit fee ($4 Resident/$6 Non-Resident) or purchase a punch card and save.

Preschool Swim

Children up to seven years accompanied by an adult in the water in our Warm Water Pool. Space is shared with other SHARC programming, including swim lessons. You may be asked to leave the pool if an activity is scheduled in that or the surrounding space.
