Open 3 to 7 pm, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Drop in for resources, services, and community!

The Westside Queer Resource Center opened its doors in June 2023. Run solely by volunteers, the center provides an inclusive and safe space for queer and trans people in Washington County. In addition to drop-in hours, the center offers events and programming like game nights and an affinity group.

The volunteers' vision is to create and sustain an environment where everyone belongs and is supported on their journey. That includes those in the Latino, immigrant, and refugee communities.

Watch the Video to Learn More

Watch the video to see Hillsboro Mayor Beach Pace sit down with Westside Queer Resource Center Board Member Amber Davis Ota to talk about:

Pronouns.org

What are they? When do we use them? How do we use them?

“Often, people make assumptions about the gender of another person based on the person’s appearance or name. These assumptions aren’t always correct, and the act of making an assumption (even if correct) sends a potentially harmful message -- that people have to look a certain way to demonstrate the gender that they are or are not.”- Pronouns.org

PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays)

PFLAG is the first and largest organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, their parents and families, and allies.
