2025 – 2030 Sanitary Sewer and Surface Water Management Rate Adjustments 

City Council approved a two-year rate adjustment for Sanitary Sewer and Surface Water Management in October 2024. The first of two rate adjustments was effective January 1, 2025. 

The second of two rate adjustments effective January 1, 2026 for Sanitary Sewer and Surface Water Management rates for a typical residential customer will be:
Sanitary Sewer

• Fixed Charge: $0.72 effective January 1, 2026. For a residential customer the new total is $9.67.
• Average Use Charge: $0.03 per CCF* effective January 1, 2026. For a residential customer using 8 CCF, the new total is $3.52 per month.
  
  *CCF: one hundred cubic feet. 1 CCF = 748 Gallons.

Surface Water Management

• Fixed Charge: Adjusted $1.40 effective January 1, 2026. For a residential customer the new total is $15.48.
