About the Program
The City of Hillsboro’s Community Services Grant Program supports local social service agencies that assist in improving the mental or physical condition of Hillsboro residents.
In November 2022, the Hillsboro Finance Committee reviewed a total of 36 applications to determine which programs would be funded within the $200,000 in total available funds. A total of 11 requests were selected to receive full funding, while three projects were selected to receive partial funding due to a tie in the scoring, with remaining monies divided by three.
The Community Services Grant award values have increased substantially since Hillsboro’s program began during the 1992-93 Fiscal Year. Back then, the program awarded a total of $15,000.
