Here is what you can expect with your service installation:
Single-Family Homes or Businesses
Your installation will involve (at least) two-steps, occurring on separate days.
- If your utilities are buried underground, a crew will come out and mark them with temporary paint.
- A separate crew will come by your home a day or two in advance of your scheduled installation to run the fiber line to a small box on the outside of your home. (You do not need to be home).
- On the day of your scheduled installation, a HiLight installer will arrive during the scheduled appointment window to complete the installation inside your home and activate your service. Someone 18 years or older, and authorized to sign for the service, will need to be home for this final step.
Apartments
Your installation will have just one-step:
On the day of your scheduled installation, a HiLight installer will arrive during the scheduled appointment window to complete the installation and activate service inside your pre-wired apartment unit.
Someone 18 years or older, and authorized to sign for the service, will need to be home for the installation.
